We all know that (some) humans have eaten snakes. Myself for one, have had plenty of snake’s soup in Hong Kong. It’s actually quite nice, and you should try it yourself. You won’t even know there’s snake in it.

Omg! That’s horrible! How could they cut that snake open! It’s just a poor animal, and some people went and took it out of it’s enviroment, killed, and gutted it for enjoyment! So what if it ate a human, the guy shouldn’t have been around the snake. A bear eats a human, and they don’t disect it. This is sick.

A snake can swallow a child or small human, however it is not likely as we are not on their regular menu.
Humans have shoulders and even a snake who detaches its jaw would still have a considerable amount of difficulty swallowing a full grown man.
I had a freind who is from Viet Nam and claimed he had seen on several occasions snakes that were cut open only to find the partially digested remains of children in their gut.
Just because a snake can swallow a crocodile or a baby hippo does not mean it can swallow a human. Consider the shape of a deer, or crocodile or a baby hippo. Sloping shoulders, easy for a snake to swallow. Now consider a human beings shoulder. Since a snake typically swallows its prey head first, swallowing a human and getting past a full grown mans shoulder would be a feat.

that picture is not fake,that was taken in mindoro province forest in the philippines. Actually that was broadcast one time in a news, called “magandang gabi bayan”, which main “good evening country”. I saw that my self.

I don’t think if it is the pictures of what was happen in the philippines almost 11 years ago,if not,then you can click the update for this topic, for sure the first added picture was one of the pictures taken way back in 1998.
Actually, that picture of a python with a man sticking out from its belly was taken in the Philippines in 1998. That story made the headlines all over the country at that time, and it was featured on numerous tv documentaries here in the Philippines. When that unlucky man first disappeared, friends thought he was kidnapped by rebels (they actually called in the army to help in the search) but then later they discovered his awful fate.
Below are some news excerpts relating the incident:
“Gumilid Lantod” was alone in the jungle catching bats on Mindoro Island in the Philippines when a 23ft (7m) python bit him on the foot and squeezed him to death. Then the monster swallowed the 154lb (60kg) man. Friends later found the snake and slit it open, finding the father of six already half digested.”

I think that is so sad that they killed the snake! It was just trying to get food, and that man was stupid enough to be around. How can anyone think this is sad for the man? When people eat ANIMALS, oh thats fine, but as soon as ONE igsignificant retard is eaten, the snake is the bad guy. Thats just stupid, and they shouldn’t have killed that snake. The guy was already dead, so how would killing it help? An ultra sound works just as well if they really HAVE to have the proof.

Honestly, the fact that people cultivate, slaughter and eat snakes, or any other animals, on such a mass scale is much more disturbing than one isolated account of a snake eating a man. Snakes can’t choose not to kill, people can.
