Alright. I’ve been extremely busy with the launch of Vurta, hence a long time since my last update. Firstly, thanks to everyone for visiting, even if it has only been for a free Moola or Google Analytics invite.

Vurta is a web hosting company set up by a bunch of people including myself. Since the launch (4 days ago), we’ve received an overwhelming number of sales enquiries, as well as completed and pending sales. I’d love to give you exact figures, but I’m actually not allowed (rules are rules). Nevertheless, it’s looking great; and we haven’t even started mass-marketing yet!

01 December 2006: Due to the popularity of this post, it has become a large target for spam (1000+ spam comments daily, with my spam filter managing to hold 99% of them). For this reason, I will no longer allow comments. If I decide to give out more invites, there will be a new post on it.

You guys are going to love this. 

I recently came across a website that was about me. On it had a profile of me, with a bunch of hilarious stuff like I had 6 toes, and that I was a “chinaman”, along with a bunch of Chinese writing calling me a “big mouth” and “fat”. My phone number along with area code and email address was posted on it. The first thing I thought was: “Damn! Fans already?!”.

Then I found that this person had been going around Internet forums posting images of me and trying to make me out to look like a complete dork. Some of it was pretty funny - someone made a forum topic on George Bush, and this person posted saying “Huh? I don’t get it”. Haha, and guess what? Someone actually went and tried to explain the whole joke to “me”! OK fine, maybe I am pretty stupid…

Anyway, after contacting the right authorities and people, I managed to find out exactly who the mysterious replica of me is. I’d just like to say two things to this person:

1. Thanks for being a fan of me, you gave me some great entertainment!
2. I know who you are, and I know deep down inside there is something you actually don’t like about me. It’s ok though, I don’t hate; save your energy and get a job. Oh, and since you also have my phone number, give me a call and we can arrange to meet up for lunch or something - my treat and no strings attached, promise!

In other news, I’d just like to announce that my lovely Christy is finally back from France!

 

Yesterday was an amazing night out at Tribeca, haven’t had quite as much fun as a I did for a LONG time. Was great meeting all you guys and girls - here’s a shout out to the following people I met, remember and will now show a lot of love to:
